BATTERIES

Do I need to charge the battery before first use?

Most batteries comes pre-charged to some extent, so it is possible to start using them to vape straight away. However, you are not doing anything wrong by topping up the battery by charging them before first time use. Some might prefer to do so.

How long do batteries last?

We are selling batteries in different sizes and strenghts plus that people have different tanks and heaters so its impossibe to say. But if you know the stats on your gear you can calculate like this:

We use Ohm’s law to work it how long the battery will last. Ohm’s law states that the current drawn equals the voltage, divided by the resistance.

Lets look at this from a 650 mAH battery that produce a constant voltage of 3.7 volts with a tank that has a coil that have 1.8 ohm resistance (Like having a EVOD battery with a Aspire ET tank; Aug 2014)

The voltage of 3.7 is divided by the resistance of 1.8 ohm, which = 2.05 amps – which is the current drawn.

We then move the decimal place so we can compare that current to your 650mAh battery – and 2.05 amps becomes 2050 milliamps.

We then divide the 650 milliamps per hour by the 2050 milliamps per hour and get 0.32 of an hour – which is just around 20 minutes.

This does not mean that your e-cig will only last 20 minutes from the moment you charge it, what it means it that it will deliver 650milliamps to your e-cig continuously for 20 minutes. But no one vapes continuously for 20 minutes and this is where the variables come in, such as:

How often do you vape? How long are your inhales? How long do you keep the button pressed with a manual e-cig? All these add up – you may only inhale for 3 seconds, have 10 inhales and then leave it for an hour, or you may inhale for 5 seconds every 2 minutes. It’s the time in use that counts, and this will gradually add up throughout the day. Most vapers will get around 4-5 plus hours of usage from the time they screw on a new, fully charged 650 mAh battery before having to recharge it.

Note: Batteries age, and with age the milliamp goes down too, and that’s why they don’t last as long the older they are.

How often should I replace my batteries?

For optimum performance and your best enjoyment we recommend you replace your batteries every 2-4 months.

LIQUID

What is in the e-liquid?

E-liquids contains 3 main ingredients plus flavorings:

Nicotine - This is the addictive ingredient, and is provides the sensation that smokers look for.

Therefore, the greater the nicotine content, the stronger nicotine hit you will feel. E-liquid content are classified in 'mg' which means milligram per millilitre or classified as a percentage. 12mg is equivalent 1.2%, 18mg is 1.8% and so on. The health risks of nicotine are already well documented.

Propylene Glycol (PG) – Propylene Glycol is the most common. A clear, colourless, nearly odourless and practically tasteless, viscous liquid. If heated or briskly shaken, it produces a vapour. This is a common ingredient used as a stabilizer in many everyday products, for example in creams, shampoos and various foods. Its function is to keep ingredients together and keep them from evaporating, and it does not let foods get dry. This is also found in normal cigarettes as well. The effects of inhaling PG are also well documented and so far no adverse effects have been reported. Propylene Glycol generally produces sweeter juices and less vapour.

Vegetable Glycerin (VG) – Vegetable Glycerin is used, usually, by people with allergies or sensitivity to PG. This is used in almost all e-liquids mixtures and is used primarily to increase vapour volume. As with PG it is again well documented and considered safe for consumption. Therefore, it can also be found in many everyday products. VG as a standalone is not suitable as e-liquid – it is too thick. Vegetable Glycerin produces more vapour, and tends to be less sweet.

Flavorings – A multitude of flavorings are used in e-liquids to give you as authentic taste as possible to the flavor listed. The tobacco flavors often use tobacco essence to give an original authentic tobacco taste.

We do not use any animal based products or derivatives in the production and processes of our e-liquid.

Allergies – It is possible in some cases that some people can be allergic to PG, if you are one of these people then you should only a pure VG e-liquid. Our latter is a 80% PG and 20% VG base for Dekang e-liquids and 75% PG and 25% VG base for iSmokeKing e-liquids so they are not suitable for a person with a PG allergy. Our e-liquid may also contain traces of nuts and is not suitable for people with nut allergies.

Our e-liquid is not suitable for pregnant women.

Why is Propylene Glycol used in the liquid?

Propylene Glycol is added to the nicotine e-liquid mix to produce the effect of vapour upon inhalation. Without PG there would be no visible vapour. This is especially important as not only does it provide the sensation of smoking a real cigarette it also allows the nicotine to enter the lungs providing the desired fix.

Propylene Glycol has had an unsurpassed reputation for absolutely safe use in a wide range of consumer products, including food products, animal feed, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, as well as industrial applications. It is also used in various pharmaceutical products, e.g. inhalers, antiseptics, vitamins, and vaccines. Numerous studies have proven that PG has a very low degree of toxicity.

Media often points out that PG is an ingredient in antifreeze. However, they fail to mention that it is non-toxic antifreeze, thus misleading the consumers. Industrial grade PG is used in non-toxic antifreeze and de-icing solutions for cars, airplanes and boats, it is also found in polyester compounds.

How do I know what strength of e-liquid I need to buy?

The strength of E-liquid you need depends your own personal usage.

You can choose between 0 mg, 6 mg (low), 11/12 mg (medium), 16/18 mg (high) and 24 mg (very high) nicotine strength. We recommend that you start somewhere in the middle and alter the strength based on your preferences.

Nicotine Levels: What they actually mean:

0mg/mL Nicotine This means that there is no nicotine contained in your E-Liquid. 

6mg/mL Nicotine This is used by many people who smoke ultra light cigarettes.

11 or 12 mg/mL Nicotine Again this is medium in nicotine level terms.11mg/ml is the preferred level for people who like nicotine, but are not necessarily heavy users of e –cigs. This is used mostly by people who smoke light cigarettes. It is also used as a starting point for smokers who intend to move over to e-cigs for the benefits they provide whilst still enjoying the nicotine hit.

16 or 18mg/ml Nicotine This means that there is high nicotine lever in your E-liquid.
This is mainly used by people who smoke strong cigarettes.

24mg/ml Nicotine This is the highest nicotine level we offer and this is the preferred level of nicotine by smokers who smoke e-cigs and is commonly preferred by people who were formally smoking heavily prior to switching and where the hit is the most important feature.

The nicotine content for e-liquid is the number of milligrams of nicotine per millilitre in the E-Liquid.
That means a 10ml bottle of 24mg nicotine e-liquid would have 240mg of nicotine in it (24mg x 10ml). Likewise, a 30ml bottle of 24mg e-liquid would have 720mg of nicotine in it (24mg x 30ml).

Upon refilling your clearomizers with e-liquid, you can work out much nicotine is contained in your refill e-liquid.
There are approximately 20 drops of e-liquid per millilitre. So in our 24mg nicotine e-liquid once again there would be 1.2mg of nicotine per drop (24mg/20 drops).Therefore, if you place three drops of e-liquid into a clearomizer that means you will be taking in 3.6mg in those total drops.

Also you cannot absorb 100% of the nicotine. As the nicotine is never 100% absorbed by the vapour. At any one time you will absorb only about 50% of the nicotine.

What is the shelf life of the e-liquid?

Yes our e-liquids have approximately a 2 years use by date. E-liquid is best stored in room temperatures between 10-25 ºC.

How long does shipping take?

We always aim to dispatch orders within a business day of them being placed.

Orders to be shipped to mainland UK and Northern Ireland will be sent with a Royal Mail. Your parcel can take up to 6 business days to arrive, though items usually arrive within 2-3 days. Please note that Royal Mail may deliver your parcel on a Saturday.

Orders to be shipped to addresses outside mainland UK and Northern Ireland are also sent by Royal Mail. These parcels can take up to 10 business days to arrive.

During busy periods or peak seasons, we may experience unforeseen delays. In these instances, we will always attempt to notify customers of any delays at the shopping basket stage before orders are placed, or via e-mail.

Does iSmokeKing ship worldwide?

iSmokeKing ships orders worldwide, but please make sure whether your country allows the import of electronic cigarettes, nicotine/nicotine free cartridges or other electronic cigarette parts before placing your order.

How much does shipping cost and which services do you use?

All UK and Worldwide orders are delivered by Royal Mail. Shipping cost depends on the weight of your order. More information you will find in our Shipping Policy.

I live outside the UK, what about customs and import duty?

If you order products from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes. When you place an order with iSmokeKing, any customs or import charges stipulated in your country must be paid by yourself. Please contact your local customs office for further information prior to placing your order.

POST PURCHASE

Where can I see the status of my order?

You can see the status of your order in Your Account under Order History. Also once you have placed your order you should receive two emails from us in turn. You will receive a confirmation email letting you know we have received your order request and payment and that we are processing your items. Secondly you will receive a dispatch email once your order has been sent.

How can I cancel or amend my order?

If you place an order on www.ismokeking.co.uk and decide you want to cancel the order or change the address; you must notify our Customer Services by sending an email to: support@ismokeking.co.uk immediately and we will endeavour to retrieve the order before it is dispatched.

We always aim to dispatch our orders as quickly as we can, in order to give our customers the most efficient service possible. As a result of this, we cannot always guarantee that we will be able to cancel or amend orders, even if you notify us the same day the order was placed.

In the event that it is not possible to alter or cancel the order before it has been processed, our Customer Service will attempt to make arrangements to recover the order, or have it returned once you receive it.

What do I do if I need to return an item?

Write an email to support@ismokeking.co.uk describing why you would like to return product and one of our Customer Team Support representatives will gladly assist you.

An RMA Number will be issued and you need to include that number in the RMA Form that you can download in your back office.Please enclose the RMA Form with the products that you return to us. If you are returning your product because it is defective, please state the nature of the defect or defects.

All exchanges and replacements require a completed Returned Merchandise Authorisation form (RMA) unless stated. Returns must be received within fourteen calendar days of the submission of your RMA form. Failure to return items within this period will void your right to exchanges and returns in any future instances.

You will find the Returns address on the RMA form.

Repackage the product in its original packaging, including any accessories, brochures, manuals, guarantees or warranties that came with the product. Unfortunately we will be unable to issue a refund where the product is in an incomplete state.

If the original packaging surrounding the product has been damaged or destroyed we will only issue a refund if the product is being returned due to a defect. If the original packaging of a defective product has been damaged or destroyed you should ensure that the returned product is adequately packed for shipment back to us.

How does the 30 Day Refund Guarantee works?

We offer a 30 day refund guarantee from the date of purchase on most of the products. All returns must be received within 30 days after payment has been made in the original packaging with all accessories and documentation with the original packing. Due to strict health standards, we cannot refund or replace any open cartridge packs or disposable products. Also we cannot refund or replace any product that contains liquid even if they are in original packaging and are not opened. Shipping fees are non-refundable, and you will need to pay for return shipping.

Products must be received by our Returns Department within the 30 day period after payment has been made to be eligible for a refund. Address for the Returns Department will be sent to your email address and also it can be found on RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorisation) Form.

What are the warranties on iSmokeKing products?

iSmokeKing products are warrantied in the event of defects in the workmanship or materials.

Warranty strictly covers the original product only under the following terms:

USB charger, USB car charger, UK wall charger, EU wall charger, US wall charger are warrantied for a period of twelve calendar months from the date of payment and may be repaired or replaced at our discretion up to a maximum of once.

Batteries are consumable items and are warranted for thirty calendar days from the date of payment. Batteries are manufactured to the highest standard, but may fail or degrade over a period of time, especially if used incorrectly. The expected lifespan of an electronic cigarette battery is around 2-4 months or with at least 150 charge cycles, depending on usage. Regular replacement of batteries is recommended for best usage results. Replacement batteries may be purchased from www.ismokeking.co.uk.

Warranty does not apply to defects resulting from misuse, improper or inadequate maintenance, improper charging or use of alternative charging adaptors, or unauthorized modifications including the use of e-liquid substances.

Refills are consumable products not covered under warranty due to the consumable nature of the product, and for health and hygiene purposes.

Warranties will also be void if items have not been used within their given usage instructions, and without due care.

Should you wish to return an item due to fault or defect, you must contact our Customer Team Support support@ismokeking.co.uk as soon as the fault is found. Failure to do so or continuing use of an item that is known to be faulty will void your right to a replacement. To see specific rules regarding returns please see our Returns Policy.

iSmokeKing reserves the right to refuse any exchange request that does not substantially meet our requirements or terms and conditions.

Warranties are only applicable to products purchased on www.ismokeking.com. Any product purchased at other locations or websites are not covered by any warranty.

How do I create an account?

You can create an account in one of two ways:

1: When placing your first order, add all the items you wish to purchase to your basket and proceed to the checkout page. Fill Registration form on the checkout and press the "Register" button. You will receive an email confirming your registration.

2: Click "Registration" at the top right of the home page, follow the instructions on the screen and fill in your details and click the "Register" button Once you have registered you will receive an email confirming your account details.

How do I manage my account? (Dashboard?)

Once you've registered, you can manage your account at any time by logging in at the top right of the page. Once you are logged in you can go to Your Account and do the following:

Edit Profile: Edit your email and language preference.

Change Password: Change your password.

Order History: Review your previous orders.

Discount Account: A customer can store their rewards from their purchase and from the purchases made by their down line.

Genealogy: Here you can see your customers and customers of your customers.

Shipping: If you have multiple addresses you wish to use, manage those details here.

Tip A Friend: Allows the customer send his referring link to anyone by email.

How do I change my existing password?

Simply go to Your Account and click on Change Password and follow instructions.

What should I do if I forget my password/login details?
